Last Family Night

Still working on 2014, I did my last night with my whole family of five.

The color was from Let's Capture Our Memories, from their December color scheme:

Night #1

On our first actual night to explore and more of Madison. Rather than a hotel and boxes as far as you could see, we went down to State Street. A cute downtown street for eating, drinking and shopping.

The layout if from Let's Capture Our Memories, and I gotta say this has been one of my favorite sketches. I love the big number on the top! This is their #101 sketch challenge:

So now I jump ahead to 2014 to when I had the greatest weekend when my family came to visit me and we explored Madison's amazing fall color.

State Fair '07

Hello!

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving, and I am very excited to say I got a page done while my turkey was cooking! It was my first time making a turkey and it came out really good. (Also traveled back to my 2007 book for this page!)

I did only a little Black Friday shopping... that was for myself! So now i'm going back to craft! 

Job offer

Sorry I have been gone for so long, I haven't scrapped in so long! Well now my friends that's about to change because I am back!

Where have I been you might be asking? I took a great job and moved across the country... to Madison, WI. I finally have settled in and down in life. I have my little craft area all organized and ready to go. Right now it's all in a bookcase and I'm missing my scrap room with my mom.

I decided to start a book about my move and transition up to Madison. So the first page is about the job and offer.

I went with a black and white theme since there was so much text. The addition of red is from the company's logo is red.

Winner at the Boardwalk

Oh what a crazy couple of weeks and I am so behind on my scrapping, as always. Sadly! So I had the perfect page in mind for the Studio Challenges next challenge:

I chose the first row down: hot pink, 4 patterned paper and something sparkly!

Here is the page! I had a lot pink, which I am not the girly girl of loving pink so this was kinda fun for me. The blue ribbon and blue pieces of paper are sparkly though you may not be able to tell. I found lots of patterns! 

Seaside Heights

Hello!

This weekend's goal: to finish our New Jersey trip! I'm getting pretty close. I also may need to do a little fall scrapbooking shopping.

This page was our day at the beach at Seaside Heights, where my mom grew up and spent her high school years.
